Lincoln has been playing in bands since 1980, when he started out as the guitarist in a rock band, which played original material. After 2 years Lincoln switched to bass; the band changed their name and started to incorporate cover songs into the sets. They also went into the studio and recorded a 7-song demo tape. The line-ups changed and so did the bands names; right up to 1994 when Lincoln left the Country to go to Hollywood. He enrolled in the “Bass Institute of Technology”, which is part of the “Musicians Institute”. Lincoln played and performed with 38 different line ups on stage whilst attending this school. He learnt a lot from a great many respected musicians, including the likes of: Alexis Skljarevski (Crosby Stills & Nash), Dale Titus, Victor Wooten, Wendy Hrehovcsik, Paul Farnen (Olympic Symphony Orchestra), Putter Smith (The Beach Boys, Johnny Mathis, Ray Charles), Bob Magnusson (Art Pepper, Manhattan Transfer, Linda Ronstadt), George Lopez (Tito Puente, Cella Cruz, Dave Valentine), Tim Miller Neil Bogart, Roy Ashen, and more.
Lincoln returned to the UK with all his experiences and joined a Blues Covers band for 2 years. He was also playing with a Rock Band doing original material and a 70’s tribute band during this time. In 1998 Lincoln joined another 70’s tribute band and began teaching as well as performing. 2002 sees Lincoln playing chart hits with “X-Press” and “Spank” and Country hits with “8 Seconds”. Moving on to Rock bands, another Country band, a Funk Rock outfit, a couple more Blues bands..... After being a song learning machine for the last few years and after experiencing many different types of bands Lincoln decided it was time to record some of his old material. With all his contacts he decided to ask the best of the best to aid him with his new recording project "Under The Skin". The Gods were smiling and it was all systems go. It became evident after the first few rehearsals that this was something special and that they should take things further. Hence... Blind Evolution.
